Joiful offers training through all levels of Reiki—from your very first introduction to energy healing through Reiki Master/Teacher certification.

Whether you're completely new to Reiki, continuing your training with us, or began your journey elsewhere, you're welcome to find your next step at Joiful.

Our trainings are designed to be hands-on, approachable, and deeply experiential. You'll learn the foundations and techniques of Reiki while also having opportunities to practice, ask questions, build confidence, and connect with others who are exploring this work alongside you.
 

And your support doesn't necessarily end when the training does. Depending on your level and current program, students may have access to cohort connection, continued mentorship, opportunities for practice, and additional Reiki experiences at Joiful. Our Reiki Master program includes an extended mentorship component specifically designed to support practitioners as they integrate what they've learned.
 

At Joiful, Reiki training is about more than receiving a certification. It's about developing a practice you trust, learning to work with energy with confidence and integrity, and becoming part of a community where you can continue to learn, practice, and grow.

Reiki Level 1

​

Reiki Level 1 or First Degree, is dedicated to shaping the student into an adept healer, with a primary focus on self-healing, detoxification, and establishing a daily practice routine. This phase is pivotal for the development of healing abilities. Although receiving numerous attunements won't automatically transform you into an effective healer, the attunement itself opens you to the Universal Life Force, or ki, and clears your energy channels, akin to an oil change. However, it is the consistent practice that aligns these channels and maintains your connection with the universal ki. Self-healing takes center stage during this period.

Reiki Level 2

​

Reiki Level 2, also known as the Second Degree, is a transformative step in the practice of Reiki, enabling practitioners to deepen their understanding and harness a broader spectrum of healing energy. This certification course is designed for individuals who have completed Reiki Level 1 and are ready to expand their knowledge and skills. The course focuses on the use of sacred symbols and distant healing techniques, empowering participants to provide more comprehensive and targeted Reiki sessions.

Reiki Master Apprentice

​

Reiki Level 3, often called the Master/Teacher Level, is the final stage of traditional Reiki training and an invitation to move beyond learning Reiki into truly embodying the practice.
 

Designed for students who have completed Reiki Levels 1 & 2, this program combines advanced training with mentorship, practice, and ongoing support as you prepare to confidently step into the role of Reiki Master.
 

Unlike Reiki 1 & 2, this is not a one-day certification. Reiki Master is structured as a mini internship, giving you time to practice what you learn, integrate the teachings, receive feedback, and demonstrate proficiency before graduating.

We’ll begin with an immersive in-person training at Joiful, where you'll learn:

• The final two Reiki symbols

• How to give and pass Reiki attunements

• How to confidently work with all five traditional Reiki symbols

• Reiki as a business, including practical considerations for offering Reiki professionally

• The role and responsibility of stepping into Reiki Master/Teacher work

After our initial training, the journey continues. Over the following months, our small cohort will meet for 2–3 monthly Zoom mentorship sessions. These gatherings are an opportunity to bring questions from your practice, receive support and feedback, refine your skills, and learn alongside your fellow Reiki practitioners.
 

Rather than graduating on a predetermined date, we will graduate together when the class is ready.​

Reiki Mastery isn't simply about completing a course or receiving another certificate.

Before certification, you'll be expected to actively practice and demonstrate that you can confidently:

• Recite and draw all five Reiki symbols from memory

• Understand when and how each symbol is used

• Perform a Reiki attunement from memory

• Demonstrate comfort and confidence working independently with Reiki

Once these requirements are complete, you'll officially graduate and receive your Reiki Master/Teacher certification.
