Terms of Service

Welcome to Joiful Yoga. Joiful Yoga and its affiliates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit Joiful Yoga studio or Joifulyoga.com, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.

Studio Etiquette

Our community guidelines ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience at Joiful Yoga.

  • Arrive on time: It's generally recommended to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the start of class to allow for check-in, setting up your mat and props, and getting settled. Late entry can be disruptive to both the teacher and other students, so it's best to avoid it if possible. Doors will lock at the start of class time and no one will be allowed to enter once the doors are locked.

  • No electronics: To create a peaceful and focused atmosphere, it's customary to leave all electronic devices, including cell phones, outside the studio. 

  • Leave belongings outside: Please leave personal items in the designated areas in the hall. This helps keep the studio space clear and uncluttered, and minimizes the risk of tripping or falling during class.

  • Bring only necessary items into studio: While it's fine to bring water bottles or any props that are specifically related to the class (such as blocks, blankets, or straps), it's generally best to avoid bringing unnecessary items into the studio.

  • Be respectful of others: During class, try to minimize conversation and avoid loud or distracting noises. If you need to leave the room for any reason, try to do so as quietly and unobtrusively as possible.

  • Stay for savasana: Savasana (final relaxation) is an important part of the yoga practice, and it's customary to stay for the entire duration of the class, including the final relaxation. 

  • After class, wipe down any props or borrowed mats with the sanitizing towels provided and place any cold towels in laundry bins

  • Wear comfortable clothes & bring a mat (we have mats for rent if you forget)

  • We have zero tolerance for hostility, violence, discrimination or bullying and harassment in our studio
  • Above all, we encourage you to enjoy the practice and have fun!

Memberships

  • Contracts are billed on a monthly recurring basis

  • Contracts have a 3-month minimum commitment

  • We accept debit cards and credit cards; we do not accept cash payments at this time

  • To cancel your membership, a 7-day notice is required. Please email the studio joifulyoga@gmail.com to cancel your membership.

  • Members may freeze their memberships free of charge for a period no less than 7 days and no longer than 30 days with 7 day notice. Freezes may occur once per calendar year, usually for medical reasons. All of reasons will be at owner's discretion. Freezes require an unfreeze date to process, and the billing cycle will automatically pick up on the unfreeze date.

  • Memberships begin on date of purchase, but can be adjusted to the date in which you take your first class

  • If you would like to adjust the start date, email joifulyoga@gmail.com

Cancellation Policy

  • Everyone’s time is valuable - yours and our instructors. If you are not able to make it, please let us know within two hours of class time.

  • Canceling a reservation less than 2 hours prior to a class will result in a $10 late cancellation fee

  • Failure to cancel a reservation or checking in properly for class will result in a $20 no show cancellation fee

  • We cannot take cancellations over e-mail, phone, chat, or voicemail; you must cancel via the mobile app or website

  • Class Package holders:  If you do not show up to class and do not cancel, your class will be deducted from your package

  • Members:  If you do not show up to class and do not cancel your class, a $20 late fee will be charged to the card you have on file

Return & Refund Policy

  • We do not offer refunds on any Single Classes, Class Packages, Workshops, Monthly Memberships, Retreats, apparel or merchandise

  • We do not offer expiration extensions on Single Classes, Class Packages, or Unlimited Memberships

  • All Class Packages, Unlimited Memberships, and Workshops are non-transferable

Lost & Found

  • Joiful Yoga, its teachers, and its employees are NOT responsible for any lost or stolen items

  • Please check the lost and found cubbies before or after class times for any items you may have left behind
