Cassie Dowell

Owner

Cassie is the owner of Joiful Yoga and a Kundalini Yoga teacher, Reiki Master, meditation teacher, and certified teacher of metaphysics with a passion for exploring the connection between energy, spirituality, and the body. She especially loves teaching meditation, mantra, breathwork, Reiki, and the more subtle aspects of yoga, as well as hosting workshops that invite people to learn, connect, and grow. A newly minted empty nester, Cassie is embracing this new chapter with her young adult children—and when she’s not at Joiful, you’ll likely find her line dancing, learning tango, reading one of several books at once, or drinking entirely too much coffee.

Something that she began to build from a very young age dancing ballet, and that she rediscovered years later through the practice of Yoga. Surely Alvelo

Instructor

Surely (pronounced Sue-reh-lee) has always been drawn to finding simple, meaningful ways to let go of everyday stress and come back to a more centered, balanced place. Her personal yoga practice has been a steady anchor in her life, teaching her how breath, movement, and stillness can bring the whole body back into harmony. That love for healing eventually grew into Golden Light Healing, where she now blends intuition, sound healing, Reiki, and other energetic tools. Over time, her path has naturally shifted toward sound and energy work, and she’s grateful to share these practices with others who are looking to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
