Joiful's Satsanga

What is a Satsanga?

Satsanga, a Sanskrit term, can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth," which refers to gathering with like-minded, uplifting people, especially those on a spiritual path. It typically involves coming together in a conducive environment to explore spiritual concepts and practices under the guidance of a teacher.

What is Joiful's Satsanga?

In the Joiful Satsanga, we delve into three primary practices. The first is Kirtan, a form of chanting call-and-response mantras with music that fosters a sense of bonding and community. The second is Jnana Yoga, the yogic path of inquiry that encourages self-reflection and deep understanding. The third is Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), a form of guided meditation done lying down that promotes relaxation and inner peace.

In Satsanga, participants embark on a journey to deepen their understanding of spiritual principles, share insights, and support each other on their path. This class not only fosters a sense of community and collective growth but also serves as a sanctuary where seekers can connect, find inspiration, and cultivate inner peace and wisdom amidst the complexities of life. The benefits of Satsanga are profound, leading to more peace, joy, and love in one's life.

Join Doug and friends every Sunday at Joiful at 10am for this wonderful practice.
